An Introduction to the Latest Korean Skincare Routine

In recent years, we have seen Korean skincare dominate throughout the west – this was some kind of phenomenon that has shocked most people, but it was accepted with open arms.

Koreans are well-known for their dewy skincare, which makes their skin look so vibrant, healthy, and all the younger.

Not to mention that this dewiness makes their skin look hyper-moistened – this is something that most people in the west are aiming to achieve as well.

Here at Aloe Beauty, we aim to educate our readers and potential clients when it comes to everything Korean skincare. This is why we’re trying our best to incorporate as many blog posts that talk about this trend, as well as providing treatments like the Korean BB Glow.

Although, as beautiful as the results might be, some might say that the Korean skincare routine might be a bit tedious.

Why?

Probably because of the ten-step Korean skincare regimen that they follow.

In this article, we will show you what it’s like to do this ten-step beauty regimen so you can decide whether this could be for you.

The Ten-Step Korean Skincare Routine

While most Korean have that dewy and glowy skin, the secret to it is a ten-step regimen.

This might be something that most people might find tedious because of how many steps there are, or because of the amount of skincare products you’ll be putting on your face.

Although, most people have deemed this skincare routine worth it.

We will be going through the step-by-step process in this article:

  1. Use a makeup remover and an oil cleanser to remove any makeup on your face, and to prepare your skin for the entirety of the skincare routine.

  2. You can then use a water-based cleanser to help remove any kind of residue from your face or skin.

  3. It is best to exfoliate your skin, at least twice a week. This can get rid of any lingering dead skin cells on your face, which can benefit your skin greatly.

  4. Then you should use a toner to help rebalance your pH levels – this is an important step, so don’t skip this part.

  5. After using your toner, it is best to use a few drops of essence to promote skin cell regeneration and make your skin look radiant.

  6. This is when you can use various boosters, serums, and creams. The products you’re going to be using for this step might vary depending on what skin problem you’re trying to target – it’s best to ask your dermatologist for product recommendations.

  7. You can then use a sheet mask once or twice a week, and you can leave this for 15 to 20 minutes at a time.

  8. Then you can put on eye cream to boost a healthier-looking vibrancy in your eye area.

  9. We can’t emphasize enough how it’s so important to moisturize, so don’t skip this part because this can seriously change the way you see skincare and beauty.

  10. Lastly, apply a bit of sunscreen to protect your skin from any UV. Keep in mind that sunscreen should be reapplied throughout the day.

This is the Korean skincare method, and it has worked for most Koreans, which is probably why most people outside of their country have gotten so amazed by it.

Here at Aloe Beauty, we want you to feel good about yourself and to love the skin you’re in. This is why we encourage our readers and clients to try out various treatments and skincare routines to know which ones would give them the best results.
