Here at Aloe Beauty Spa, we take beauty and wellness seriously, so let’s have a look at three of the biggest beauty trends you have to know in 2023.

What We’re Most Looking Forward to in 2023

We know that beauty trends come and go, but some are here to stay – like Gua Sha.

Let us ask you this question: what beauty trends are you most looking forward to in 2023?

Since we’re a beauty spa in Scottsdale, we’re always on the lookout for beauty trends that focuses on beauty, wellness, and lifestyle. We’re eager to find beauty trends that focus on giving people better skin and what-not.

Although we know that this isn’t always the case since beauty trends can come in the form of make-up, hairstyle, nails, and more.

So let’s look at some of the beauty trends that are set to take over the beauty space in 2023.

Hair: The Comeback of Side-Partings

Back then, side-partings have been ridiculed by the younger generation (we can’t really blame them since this hairstyle has been going on for ages). This hairstyle has been called “cheugy,” but it’s as if side-parting is making a comeback in the next year.

Thanks to celebrities like Zendaya, Megan Fox, and Laura Harrier, side-parting has slowly made a comeback and it seems to be firmly back on the “in” list by 2023.

According to Nicole Petty, “The side-parting’s renaissance will be in full swing next year.”

Now, who’s going back to side-partings by the next year? As for us, we believe that this hairstyle trend never really left – ha!

Make-Up: Grunge Glam is Back Again

For some people, Wednesday Addams from Netflix was their main inspiration for that serious “goth-glam.” Although, this was a make-up trend that has been around for decades.

For most millennials, “grunge glam” was mostly synonymous with the likes of Avril Lavigne. She was the original skater girl, and we loved her style in the early 2000s. Not only that, but over the last year, searches for “Avril Lavigne Make-Up” have increased by 39%. This is a testament that grunge glam is back and better than ever.

Today, the ultimate grunge glam queen is none other than Jenna Ortega, and we’re living for her looks on Wednesday.

Skin: Building Barries for a Healthy Skin

Now it’s time to focus on nourishing and working on our skin, and this time, we’re choosing gentle formulas that will help build our skin barrier back up. This can be a necessity when you’ve used way too much retinol or exfoliating acids.

In 2023, the focus will be on barrier repair and hydration, and this is something that we estheticians are also looking forward to in the next year.

Are You Ready for What’s to Come?

It’s always interesting to see, and even predict, what’s going to come as the new year approaches. This is something that we’re always eagerly anticipating at Aloe Beauty Spa.

In the next year, we aim to do more facials, microneedling, nanoneedling, and more. While it is the new year, we’re still going to provide the best facial treatments in Scottsdale – this is a no-brainer, you can count on us.

So why don’t you ring in the new year with healthy skin with the help of Aloe Beauty Spa? Rest assured that our professional estheticians will help you with your beauty goals in 2023.
